Anita White 96 of Village Trail Port Orange passed away Thursday January 24 2013. Anita was born in Brooklyn New York and moved to our area in 1979. Before retiring she was a travel agent and later became a volunteer in local nursing homes. She was a member of the Port St. Lucie Lioness where she served as Past President member of the Long Island Women's Club Port Orange and the Grumman Retirees Club South Daytona. Anita was also a member of the Red Hats. For the past 10 years she has been cared for by loving hands at Countryside Lakes Assisted Living Port Orange. Anita's family would like to thank the residents and staff at Countryside lakes for their wonderful support. Anita is survived by her loving children Kenneth White and his wife Kathleen of NC and Joan Behnke Kuchcicki Port Orange 8 grandchildren 12 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life for Anita will be held on Sunday January 27 2013 at 1:00 P.M at Countryside Lakes 941 Village Trail Port Orange. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Anita's name to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia Flagler. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.lohmanfuneralhomes.com.
