Angelique Jucevics Shelnick, age 91, residing in Ormond by the sea Florida passed away on January 22nd 2022, from a long battle from a stroke suffered on May 13th 2021 .

Angelique, born on December 19th 1930, in Riga Latvia, grew up in various displaced persons camps during the war, she spoke many different languages and studied at Pinneberg Collage in Germany. Her most proud achievement was coming to the United States of America in 1956 and becoming a legal citizen, an anniversary date that she celebrated yearly on August 10th She worked hard all of her life at various jobs including working for the US Government at N.T.I.S (National Technical Information Service) as a research analyst for many years.

She loved and cared deeply for animals, was accomplished award-winning artist, loved Gardening, making marmalade, loved to do crossword puzzles and had a mild addiction for Brussel sprouts. She is survived by her son Cory Shelnick, sister Beatrice Ozols, sister Narcise Glace, brother Bernhard Jucevics, grandson Kashmir Shelnick, granddaughter Angel Shelnick.

A mass of resurrection will be held at a later date.
