Angelina (Ann) Herring 88 of Ormond Beach Florida passed away Friday November 25 2011 with her family at her side. A graveside tribute will be held on Saturday December 3 2011 at 10:00 A.M at Daytona Memorial Park.
Angelina was born January 27 1923 in Bridgehampton New York. She came to Florida during Spring Break with her best friend and she just couldn't find it in her heart to leave. Angelina met her beloved husband Donald K. Herring in Daytona Beach and began a beautiful life together.
Angelina spent most of her years working for the Florida Department of Education where she retired in 1988. After her retirement she wanted to give her love and caring nature to others and accepted a job at Bishops Glen Retirement Center in Holly Hill where she left smiles on so many faces. Those left to cherish her memory include her son and daughter-in-law Richard and sue Herring of Deland; son and daughter-in-law Donald and Christina A. Herring of Ormond Beach; brother Joseph DeCristofaro of New York sister-in-law Effie DeCristofaro of New York; Grandchildren David Herring and wife Melanie Angeline Herring Christina M. Herring and Vance Herring of Ormond Beach; Great-Grandchildren Joshua Herring and Samantha Herring of Ormond Beach and many extended family and close friends.
Angelina loved reading cooking gardening and most of all spending time with her family. The beautiful memories of her will be etched upon our hearts forever. Until we meet againWe love you!
