Angela Sayin age 85 passed away peacefully on February 17 2010. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday February 20 2010 at 8:00am with Father Ron Oser officiating there will be interment to follow at Daytona Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends on Friday February 19 2010 from 5-7:00pm in the chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. Angela was born on September 20 1924 in Wilmington DE to Joseph & Teresa Ciconte. Angela grew up in Seaford DE and graduated from Immaculata College Immaculata PA. with top math honors. Angela met Ahmet her husband of 53 years in 1950 and they married in 1951 together they raised six children. In 1985 Angela and her family relocated to Ormond Beach Florida. Angela was a loving mother who will be remembered by all as a very charismatic woman who loved knitting cooking bread baking and traveling. She was a den leader for the boy scouts as well as a member of the Bridge Club AAUW the Kiwanis Club Wives Prince of Peace Prayer Group and Our Lady of Lourdes Prayer Group in Delaware. Angela was a faithful member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Angela was preceded in death by her husband Ahmet in 2004 as well as by her sister Elizabeth. She is survived by her sons Errol Sayin Oak Park CA Dan Sayin Carlsbad CA Fred Sayin Holly Hill FL; her daughters Susie Sayin Daytona Beach FL Selma Sayin Altamonte Springs FL Sheila Logue Coral Gables FL. her nine grandchildren. Angela will be greatly missed by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Hospice of the Comforter 605 Montgomery Road Altamonte Springs FL 32714.
