Angela Corcella Piecora

“Angie”

October 13, 1940- April 19, 2026

Our beloved Mother and Grammy passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on April 19, 2026, at the age of 85, after a courageous battle with cancer.  Born in Potenza, Italy, she immigrated to the United States at the age of 18, and began her life in New York before eventually settling in Port Orange, Florida, where she raised her three sons and worked at the Daytona Beach Hilton and at the Daytona Beach News Journal. Angie was a devoted mother and grandmother and a loyal friend to all those who were blessed to know her.  Angie enjoyed going to the movies, walking on the beach, cooking for her family, spending time with her family and friends but most of all  spending time with her four grandchildren.  Angie was predeceased in death by her son James and twin granddaughters Mary and Christen. She is survived by her sons Greg Piecora (Nancy) of Geneva Florida, Jeff Piecora (Karri) of Panama City, Florida and daughter-in-law Beth Piecora (widow of James Piecora) of Lutz, Florida and her grandchildren Kyle (YunJi), Kaitlyn, Ethan (Lily) and Kalli.

A celebration of her life will be held on May 8, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Port Orange, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” or to Halifax Hospice in Port Orange, Florida.
