Andrew Leroy White "Uncle Roy" 70 of Pam Coast passed away on February 4 2013 after an eight year battle with Thyroid Cancer. He was a strong fighter and intended to continue on any clinical trial available until the very end. His desire was to help find a cure for thyroid cancer.

Roy was born in Jacksonville Florida on February 2 1943 to Roy and Veda White. He graduated from Ribault High School Jacksonville Florida. He served his country as a Marine. Roy worked at Miller Electric for over forty years as the fleet manager and Miller's chef using his secret "pink sauce" recipe. Roy was married to Nan Wilson on February 20 2005. They were married eight years. They had so few years so their life's mission was making every day count. His love was their boat that he named ITS NOW OAR NEVER. and that is how he lived his life. He was actively involved in many organizations and charities.

Roy is survived by his wife Nan White children Andy (Jane) Michele (Ethan) Jason Aspinwall (Carmen) James Aspinwall (Stacey) grandchildren Drew Victoria Emily Alex and Amanda sisters Betty( Buck) Autrey Shirley Rich and Lee White and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday February 8 2013 from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Pkwy SW. Palm Coast Florida. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday February 9 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Parkview Baptist Church 5435 Belle Terre Parkway Palm Coast with Pastor Greg Peters officiating.
