Andrew Curtis Beardsley 78 of South Daytona went home to be with the Lord on Sunday February 27 2011. A visitation will be held on Thursday March 3 2011 at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona from 6pm-8pm.Funeral Services will be held on Friday March 4 2011 in the Chapel of Lohman Funeral Home at 1pm with burial to follow at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery with Military Honors. Andrew was born in Cocoa Beach Florida on November 10 1932 to the late Randall A. and Agnes L. (Williams) Beardsley. Mr. Beardsley served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps from 1950-1953 and was a proud veteran of the Korean War. Andrew moved to the Daytona Beach area in 1956. He worked as a Plumber-Pipefitter and was a member of Local #295 of Daytona Beach. He was also a lifelong member of the Elk's Lodge #1141 of Daytona Beach. Andrew's Hobbies included watching and attending Gator football games bottle collecting fishing trips to Las Vegas and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 48 years Janice C. Beardsley Children Jandrea and Lowell Kiester of Bloomfield MI Rhonda L. Beardsley of Port Orange FL and Randall A. and Suzette Beardsley; Grandchildren Charles Andrew Beardsley Clinton Jack Nicole Kiester Angela Kiester and Coleman Andrew Beardsley; Sisters Janice L. O'Reilly of Boston MA and Sally A. Mills of Merritt Island FL. He is preceded in death by son Charles C. Beardsley who passed in 2003.
