March 4, 1929 – January 9, 2025
Ana Marrero-Osorio of Deltona, Florida passed away on January 9, 2025. She was born in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico on March 4, 1929 to Jorge Rodriguez-Marrero and Trinadad Correa-Marrero. In 1948 she married Armando Correra-Osorio and enjoyed 76 years of marriage until Armando's passing on March 4, 2024.
Ana lived in Paterson, New Jersey where she worked in various coat factories as a machine operator for over 35 years. She retired in 1988 before moving to Jacksonville, Florida in 1990. Ana was a huge fan of the New York Yankees baseball team, and loved to sew, cook, and play bingo.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Armando Correa-Osorio; son, Gilberto (Lippy) Marrero-Osorio; daughter, Lydia L. Osorio-Alston; eleven of her sisters, Juanita Marrero, Irma Marrero-Parrilla, Julia Marrero-Quinones, Alicia Marrero-Rosa, Aida Marrero-Parrilla, Ernestina Marrero-Cruz, Margarita Marrero-Mojica, Georginia Marrero-Osorio, Raquel Marrero, Eva Marrero-Rivera, Elsa Marrero-Quinones; and one brother, Nelson Marrero-Parrilla.
Ana leaves behind her daughter, Maria E. Osorio-Carrasquillo; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; twenty-two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Rosa Lina Marrero-Rosario and Eneida Marrero-Rivera.

A viewing of Ana will take place on Monday, January 27, 2025 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32211. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 pm.
Ana's family has requested that all attendees dress in black and white.
