Ammon "Penny" Pannebaker, 95, of Palm Coast, Florida passed away on July 13, 2015. He was born in Lewistown, Pennsylvania and raised in Birdsboro, Pennsylvania. In 1945 Penny married the love of his life, Marie Pannebaker and resided in Emmaus, PA for 35 years where he raised his family. He was an avid hunter and loved his flowers.

Penny enlisted in the US Army in 1939 and in 1942 he joined the 17th Airborne Division making many jumps and fighting in the Battle of the Bulge. After the war, Ammon went to work for Western Electric in Allentown, PA. He retired 37 years later as a master electrician.

In 1984 Penny and Marie moved to Palm Coast, FL. He was an active volunteer for many years with the Florida Flagler Hospital and a member of the VFW, and Flagler Square Club. He and Marie were active members in the PA Club and enjoyed traveling with them. Penny was also a member of the Emmaus Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite Freemasonry. He was a member of the Palm Coast United Methodist Church.

He will be remembered for being a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Penny was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years. He is survived by daughters Karen Doney and husband Michael of Palm Coast and Dianne Arndt of Weston, FL. He was also the loving grandfather of 3 grandchildren Tori Patrick, Kris Doney and Kyle Arndt and 2 great-grandchildren Isabelle and Chelsea Patrick.
