Alverta Love Scott a resident of Daytona Beach since 1977 has passed into the arms of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She was 89 years of age. Mrs. Scott was predeceased by her husband Mervin Scott (a.k.a. Scotty) in 1998.
Following her husband's death she enjoyed her final years living with her daughter Pauletta and son-in-law Charles of Ormond-by-the-Sea Florida
Prior to moving to Daytona Beach during the 1970's Mr. and Mrs. Scott resided in Essex Maryland and for many years she was a valued employee of the Bendix Corporation in Towson Maryland.
She had great pride in being a skilled homemaker for her husband and was a devoted mother to her daughter Pauletta and loving grandmother to granddaughters Andrea and Jennifer who currently reside with their families in Maryland.
She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; Samantha Stephanie Brandon Morgan and Jessica and one great-great-granddaughter Cailyn Mae all of whom reside in Maryland.
The family will receive friends at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond; 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach on Wednesday; Nov. 16th between the hours of 4-6 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday; Nov. 17th at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park Daytona Beach
