Allen Glover an investigator for District 23 Medical Examiner''''s Office St. Augustine passed away Sunday October 12th at Ormond Memorial Hospital. He has been a resident of Ormond Beach for six years. Formerly of Atlanta Georgia he retired after 21 years at the Atlanta Police Department. He taught numerous criminal justice courses at North Central Georgia Law Enforcement Academy. Allen was a Training Instructor for the Riverdale Police Department. He worked for seven years as an investigator for the Fulton County Medical Examiner''''s Office. Allen also worked as a Marketing Manager for the Volusia Mall Sears. He enjoyed many years of umpiring baseball games as well as refereeing football.

He leaves a loving wife of 21 years Sandy; daughters and sons-in-law Mendi and Marc Bartell Kelly and Robert Reeves who live in the New Port California area; Stacie Glover a student at Daytona Beach Community College and a loving mother-in-law.

In lieu of flowers the family has set up a trust fund for his youngest daughter at Bank of America 902 S. Atlantic Ave. Ormond Beach FL 32176.

Memorial services is scheduled for 2 pm Thursday October 16th at First United Methodist Church Ormond Beach. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Ormond Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family guest book at www.ormondfuneralhome.com.
