Allen Grant Alter 81 of Palm Coast passed away on July 21 2008. Born in Colorado Springs Colorado Allen went on to fight for his Country in three wars WWII Korea and Vietnam. He joined the Marine Corps and eventually the Army where he retired as a Lt. Colonel. He went on to become a regional operations manager of distribution for Michelin Tire Company. He is survived by his wife of eighteen years Patsy sons Warren (Nancy) of Tucson Az. and Steven (Rebecca) of Hilliard Fl. step son Billy H. Maule (Cindy) of Jacksonville step daughter Christy Prall of Jacksonville brother Lauren (Eileen) of Morrison Co. and seven grandchildren. The family will receive visitors at 10A.M. Friday August 15 2008 with the memorial service to follow at 11A.M. at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Pkwy. S.W. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the American Diabetes Assn. or the American Heart Assn.
