Allan I. Whiting, 68, of Ormond Beach passed away November 19, 2014. A Memorial Service in his honor will be held Friday, November 21, 2014 at 7pm at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Allan was born May 5th 1946 in Torrington, CT. He served proudly in the US Army and as the Deputy Chief of the Winsted Fire Department, Engine 4. He was also a member of the Redmans Club in Winsted along with his closest friends. He spent his life fixing cars and was well respected amongst his trade. Throughout his life he most enjoyed his loving family and mostly his grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his parents Alfred and Grace Whiting and survived by his loving wife Deborah, sister Karen (GeGe) Roy, brother Gary (Laurie) Whiting, daughter Michele (Phil) Covelli, sons Sam (Kelley) Whiting, Andy (Paige) Whiting and Harley (Ingrid) Whiting along with eight grandchildren and his best friend Bud. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond.
