A Celebration of Life for Allan W. Cresser 72 of Ormond Beach formerly of Bayville NY will be held Friday August 10 2007 at 11:00a.m. at The First United Methodist Church Ormond Beach. His family will receive friends for a visitation on Thursday August 9 2007 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond.

Mr. Cresser lost a courageous battle with cancer while surrounded by his family and friends at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice Center. Allan was born December 26 1934 in Glen Cove NY. He served in the US Navy from 1952 until 1956. Mr. Cresser was a retired New York Telephone Company Director of Operations from 1956-1992 and past president of the Bayville Fire Department. He was a member of the Plantation Bay Golf Association.

He is survived by his devoted wife Fran of 52 years beloved father of two daughters Donna McQuade Ormond Beach and Lori and husband Steven Wasserman Huntington NY: loving grandfather of Sean McQuade Jared McQuade Alana Wasserman and Dylan Wasserman. Memorial donations can be made in his name to Stuart F. Myer Hospice House 150 Memorial Medical Parkway Palm Coast FL 32164.
