Alice M. Sear 84 of Daytona Beach FL passed away Tuesday May 20 2008. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Daytona Beach on Wednesday May 28 2008 at 1:00 pm with Father Phil Egitto presiding. Born May 24 1923 in Worcester MA. One of 5 daughters of Irish immigrants Jeremiah J. and Margaret M. Hart. She graduated from St. Stephen High School in Worcester and then worked for the telephone company for several years. She married WW II veteran Joseph D. Sear and moved to Daytona Beach in the early 1960's. They had one son David and she took great pleasure in raising him. Mr. Sear worked for National Airlines and Alice enjoyed taking numerous trips with her husband and son. She will always be remembered for loving and caring for her family as well as her quick wit ability to interject Irish sayings into any conversation and her desire to win the Lottery. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph and sisters Terry Margaret Helen and Joan. She leaves behind her loving son David; Tanya Wyanski who loved her both of New Smyrna Beach and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
