Alice Stone Sala, of Ormond Beach passed away on March, 6th 2021 at 89 years old. She was born on February 14th 1932 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. As a teenager she moved to New York City, where she pursued a career in advertising at McCann Erickson while working as a Runway model. In 1955 Alice married Vincent Sala, whom she remained married to for 50 years. They soon relocated to Hackensack, NJ, where they had three children. In 1972 Alice and husband Vincent purchased the Vienna Motel in Ormond by the Sea, where she and her family resided over the past 48 years.

Alice had a passion for art, whether it be drawing, painting, or viewing others work. Her hobbies included reading, the outdoors, cooking, and had quite the green thumb with a wide array of plants. Alice's pet Parakeet "Valentine" was very special to her as they spent many days by each other's side. Family was very important to her, and family gatherings were some of her favorite times.

She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. Alice is survived by her three children, Dean Sala (Gianna) of Ormond Beach, Lisa Lytwyn (Gene) of Port Orange, and Tom Sala (Dawn) of Longwood. Grandchildren: Jamie Jones (Andy), Charlie, Katie, Gabriela, Hannah, and Olivia. Great-Grandchild: Jacob Jones.

A private family memorial service will be held at Lohman Funeral Homes. Donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
