RICH ALICE L. - Alice L. Rich 87 passed away Saturday June 30 2007 at Flordia Hospital DeLand. A memorial service will be held 10:00 am Saturday July 14 at First United Methodist Church of DeLand. There will be a reception following. Mrs. Rich was born in Elkton MD. She received degrees from Hood College and University of Maryland. She was a high school teacher and guidance counselor in Maryland. Later she lived in Texas New York Quebec and Virginia with her husband and family. She moved with her husband to DeLand upon his retirement. She was active in the Women's Club of DeLand the Volusia County Home Demonstration AAUW and the Methodist Women's Society. Her husband Donald preceded her in death. She is survived by her children Frederick Rich of Massachusetts Alice Grant of Virginia and D. David Rich of Texas.
