A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Mr. Alfred C. Selvester Sr. at 10:30 AM on Saturday June 3 2006 in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with Fr. Guy Selvester as celebrant. The family will receive friends in the church memorial room on Friday from 6 PM until 8 PM and Saturday from 9 AM until Mass time. Mr. Selvester will be interred in Florida National Cemetery at 11 AM on Monday June 5 2006.
Mr. Selvester age 83 passed away at his residence in Palm Coast on Wednesday May 31 2006. Alfred was born in Brooklyn NY on August 1 1922 to Joseph & Maria Silvestri Selvester. He was a US Army Air Force veteran of WWII. Alfred was a retired mechanical draftsman for EATON. He enjoyed computers bowling and was a fan of horse racing and the New York Yankees. Alfred moved to Palm Coast from Old Bethpage Long Island NY in 1988. He was a member of the 452nd Bomb Group Association St. Pius X Catholic Church in Plainview NY St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
Left to cherish their memories of Al are his wife of 55 years Patricia; sons Kenneth Selvester wife Patricia Leonardof Bethpage Long Island Alfred Selvester Jr. of Brooklyn NY & Father Guy Selvester of Edison NJ; daughter Jeanne Selvester of San Francisco and sister Marie Donaldson of Seaford Long Island.
