Alfred Joseph Priori 90 of Port Orange peacefully passed away January 3 2012. Alfred served his country in the Army in WWII as a cook and translator in Italy North Africa and the European Theater.
He worked for and retired from the US Postal Service in Port Orange as a maintenance man. Alfred played bass guitar. His band played regularly for the local Moose lodge. He loved cooking and was a great cook. Alfred and his wife Roma had been members of the Church of the Epiphany in Port Orange. Alfred is best known for being "a friend to everybody".
Alfred was predeceased by his wife Roma. He is survived by his son Dana Priori of Port Orange; sister Eleanor Bechard of Adams MA; sister in law Dorothy Priori of Union Springs AL; dear friend Dot Senne of Port Orange; and many nephews and nieces.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday January 6 2012 at The Church of the Epiphany in Port Orange at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers donations should be made in Alfred's name to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler at 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange FL.
