Alfred R. Beyer Jr. 70 of Palm Coast Florida passed away March 28 2011 at his home. A Memorial will be held Saturday April 9 2011 from 1:00 pm until a short Service at 4:00 pm at the Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Pkwy SW Palm Coast FL. Al was born in Englewood New Jersey. He graduated from Fort Lee High School and received his Masters Degree from Mercy College in New York. Al was a volunteer Fireman and volunteer EMT for the town of Fort Lee New Jersey. He worked as a police officer for many years earning the rank of Lieutenant. In 1994 Al and his wife JoAnn moved to Palm Coast Florida. Here he became a member of the Elks R.E.A.C.T. the Orchid Society and Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church. Al loved spending his time playing tennis and gardening. He had a special talent for wood working and leaves behind many pieces for his family and friends to cherish. Al is survived by his loving wife of 31 years JoAnn and two sons Alfred R. III and Daniel Terrance.
