Alfonso Camporeale, 93, of Freehold, died Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Atlantic City NJ. Born in Bari, Italy, he lived in Freehold, NJ and then moved to Pennsburg, PA before moving to Atlantic City, NJ. He worked as a Longshoreman for the ILA Union in Brooklyn, NY. He also served in the Italian Army. Alfonso enjoyed watching old Turner Classic Movies on TV and loved playing card games with his family: Tre Sette, Scopa and King in the Corner. Alfonso is predeceased by his wife Sylvia in 2005. Surviving are his two children: Paul Camporeale (wife Lisa Derco) and Debra Franzese-Castellano (husband Anthony Castellano) and his grandchildren, Joseph, Danielle, Nicholas and Michael. Family will have a private moment of prayer prior to the entombment at 2:00PM, Monday, December 8, 2025 Daytona Beach Memorial Park. Arrangements handled by Lohman Funeral Home at Daytona Memorial Park.
