Alexander Scott, son of Joseph and Anitta Scott was born on January 7, 1935 in Ewarton, Jamaica.  He departed this life on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 8:30 a.m.

Alexander, also known as "Willy", came to America as an adult.  He was a man of many talents but was a carpenter by trade. According to wife Yvonne, "he could do anything related to construction of houses and plumbing work". One of his favorite hobbies was playing dominoes with his brothers and friends. Willy was a very giving person and active in his local church. In his free time, he loved writing in his journal. He had plans to write a book someday. Yvonne and Willy were married for 18 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted wife, Yvonne and stepson Mark; two daughters, Sonia Butler and Debbie Jones; three sons, Ian Barrington, Scott Fernander, Hugh Scott, and Delroy Scott; son preceded in death, Roydel Scott; two sons-in-law, William Butler and David Jones; three daughters-in-law, Julie Scott Fernander, Diane Scott and Jennifer Scott; three granddaughters, Samara, Senaah, and Demie; eleven grandsons, Khyyn, Bryndyn, N'Nhyn, Khalil, Hugh III, Dathan, Devin, Delroy Jr., Darien, Jordan and Davis; one great granddaughter, Rojana; three sisters, Amanda "Gwenny", Nedril "Madge", Mavis "May"; sisters preceded in death, Ida "Mighty", Getenella "Sissy", Viola "Tat"; two brothers, Samuel "Ferdie" and Kenneth "Michael"; brothers preceded in death, Eric "Dee", Harold "Buddy", Winchester "Happy"; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
