Alberto Salvo 83, of Daytona Beach, Florida and formally of York, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday November 22nd.
He was born in Sicily on August 11, 1933 a son of the late Alfonso and Rosa Pennino Salvo, and immigrated to the United States in 1950.

Albert along with his wife Mary Cucuzella Salvo owned and operated several Alberto's pizza shops in York and Daytona Beach, building a family legacy that lives on today. Albert was a member of the Sons of Italy, and enjoyed dancing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife Mary a blessed marriage of 63 years and three daughters , Rosa Strickhouser, Angie Giuffrida, and Virginia Ruby also his 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren who will greatly cherish their memory of him. Albert was predeceased in death by his son Alfonso Salvo.
A Catholic Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday November 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM from the Lohman Funeral Home 1201 Dunlawton Ave. Port Orange with a viewing for family and friends on Monday November 28th from 6-8PM. Entombment will follow in Edgewater-New Smyrna Cemetery.
