Albert J. Soha passed peacefully at St. Francis Hospice in Titusville Florida on November 9th . He lived 92 happy, adventurous years. Albert was born in Pringle Pennsylvania. He was a doctor in the US Army and achieved the rank of Colonel. He served at various bases in the US, S. Korea and Germany. After retiring from the military, Albert settled in Kentucky where he remained until 2017 when he moved to Port Orange with his niece, MaryAnn. Albert spent his retirement extensively traveling with his best friend Jay Hartman. They traveled throughout the US, Europe and Asia. He enjoyed sharing his pictures and adventurous stories with family and friends.
Albert was a kind, pragmatic and humorous person. He loved dogs, his basset hound Maggie was particularly dear to him. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his sister Anna Soha of Port Orange and Nieces and Nephews. Albert was the youngest of 7 children of Stella and Andrew Soha.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stella (Dermayko) Soha and Andrew J. Soha; sisters, Josephine Soha, Helen Renault and Sophie Payne; his brothers, Stanley Soha and John A. Soha and his dear friend, Jay Hartman.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 4675 S. Clyde Morris Blvd in Port Orange on December 1 at 8:30 AM.
