Albert W. Fougere, loving husband, father, and grandfather, was born on January 15th, 1938. He passed away on October 1st, 2017. He was 79. Albert "Al" was born in Boston, MA. He joined the US Air Force at only 17 years old. He retired as a Master Sergeant after 23 years of service. He was awarded the "Meritorious Service Medal" and the "Good Conduct Medal". He also received an Associate Degree for Applied Science in Communications Technology. Afterwards he worked for the United States Postal Service for 21 years. He was awarded the "40 years of Government Service" award. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Fougere, whom he was married to for nearly 30 years. He is survived by his children Albert R. Fougere, Susi Moore (Randy), Jochen Fougere (Rachelle), and Marcel Fougere, as well as his grandchildren Taylor, Dylan, and Devyn. A memorial service will be held on October 26th at 6:30pm at Fellowship Baptist Church, 114 S. Courtland Blvd., Deltona, FL. His final resting place will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
