Services for Alan "Big Al" Adams age 47 of Port Orange who died Saturday July 19 2008 will be 11:00 A.M. Friday July 25 2008 at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. His family will receive friends Thursday evening; July 24 2008 from 6 to 8 P.M. Internment will follow the service in Daytona Memorial Park South.
Alan was born in Jacksonville and moved to the Daytona Area in in 1972. He will be remembered for his keen sense of humor great cooking skills and never meeting a stranger. Alan was always willing to help a friend or neighbor in need. He loved fishing "The Gators" and cooking. Alan will be missed greatly by his loving family daughter Amber Adams of Sanford Breanna Adams of Port Orange; parents Frances and Larry Rhoden of S. Daytona; fianc Tracy Harris of Port Orange; brother Rick Adams of S. Daytona; sisters Pamela Robbins of Port Orange Renne Presnell of Deltona; 3 grandchildren. Alan was preceded in death by his birth father Jay H. Adams and his brother Troy Rhoden.
