Aileen (Shepherd) Joseph, age 87, of South Daytona passed away on April 19. She was born in Hyden, Kentucky, and moved to Florida with her family in 1963. She retired from K-Mart in 1993 where she served for over 30 years as an accountant. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Daytona Beach and was active in the sewing group that made lap robes for the Veterans. She enjoyed making quilts and playing the piano.
Mrs. Joseph is survived by her husband of over 70 years Warren Kenneth Joseph, daughters Donna Knott of Port Orange and Jennifer Baker of Orlando, daughter-in-law Sarah Joseph of Rockledge, and sons Edward and Mickey, both of Port Orange. She is predeceased by her oldest son Ronald. There are also 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Lohman Funeral Home, 1423 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach, on Friday, April 25, at 11:00 am. Visitation will occur prior to the service at 10:00.
Burial will follow at the adjoining cemetery. The service will be officiated by Rev. Robert Anderson. A reception will be held at the church at 730 Beville Road in Daytona after interment. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the United Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
