Obituary

Adolph Zygmunt Mis ?Affectionately known as ?Al?or ?Big Al? age 78 of Port Orange Fl. died Sunday September 10 2006 at Halifax Medical Center. Entombment will be held in Daytona Memorial Park.

Adolph was born on July 28 1928 to the late Thomas and Monica Tront Mis in Detroit Michigan. His parents came over from Krakow Poland. He was a member of Epiphany Church and the Moose Lodge. Mr. Mis enjoyed the ocean sun playing pool traveling music gambling on the Sun Cruz casino boat in Ponce Inlet. Most of all he loved to sing and he had an excellent voice. He and his family would sing on every holiday and every occasion.
Leonard Al?s oldest brother said ?Dolly when you married ?AL? you got everything from A-Z.? It sure was true! It was quite a ride but Dolly adored him! Their favorite song was Frank Sinatra?s ?All the Way? it said it all!

He is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years Dolores ?Dolly? Ostrowski Mis a brother; Robert Mis of Port Orange FL. three sisters; Emily Cebulak of Dearborn Heights MI Eleanor Macek of Chino Hills Ca. Lottie Micensky of Livonia MI . One sister in Law; Alice Mis of Westland MI Also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends. Condolences may be shared with the family online at www.lohmanfuneralhomes.com.
