Mrs. Adeline Mittelstadt, age 88 passed away on November 10th in Ormond Beach, Fl. Adeline was born in Romania on January 6, 1927, but because of the war, needed to move to Germany in the late 1940's. It was in Germany where she met her true love, and married Immanuel in 1951.They would stay in Germany until 1965 when, with their four children, they decided to immigrate to the United States through New York City. Adeline was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, and gardening, but her true joy came from her family. After moving to Ormond Beach, Adeline became an active member of Calvary Christian Church. Unfortunately, Adeline suffered with the pain of arthritis for many years, but is now "dancing in Heaven with Jesus without any pain". Adeline was predeceased by two of her children, Helmut and Ingrid. Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Immanuel, 2 sons, Klaus and Gerhard Mittelstadt, her daughter, Brigitte Metzger, 8 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all of them! There will be a funeral service for Adeline on Thursday, November 19, following a visitation beginning at 11a.m. at Lohman Funeral Home in Daytona Beach. Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park.
