Ada Narcissus Urquhart Luther passed away peacefully at home on November 20 2008 in Ponce Inlet FL. Ada was born in Apopka FL on June 20 1927 to Ada and John Urquhart. She married Ernest Luther in 1950 and was his devoted wife for over 54 years until his death in 2004. She was loving mother of two children Ernie Luther of Centreville Virginia and Janet Desloges of Spartanburg South Carolina. She was a caregiver to family and many friends in need. Her hobbies included quilting spoiling her grandchildren cooking and her theatre outings to the Peabody Theatre with her best friends. She was a lifelong Washington Redskins fan. Ada is predeceased by her husband Ernie Luther; her mother and father; sisters Marguerite and Mary; and brother Jack. She is survived by her son Ernie Luther; and daughter Janet Desloges. She is also survived by her grandsons Michael Chris Gary and Dale; her sister Jean Youngman of Orlando; and her brother John Urquhart of Cocoa Beach. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Ada's name to Odyssey Hospice or Hospice of Volusia County. A memorial service is planned for Monday November 24 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Baggett & Summers Funeral Home 736 South Beach Street Daytona Beach.
