Funeral services for Aaron D. Jones Jr. 78 of South Daytona FL who passed away on Thursday October 25 2007 at the Halifax Medical Center Daytona Beach will be held at 2:00pm Monday October 29 2007 at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona 1423 Bellevue Ave Daytona Beach FL with burial to follow at Daytona Memorial Park. Mr. Jones was born in MacClenny Florida to Aaron and Venie Jones Sr. on September 20 1929. He served his country in the United States Army where he received the Occupational Medal of honor before his honorable discharge in 1953. Aaron loved fishing football grilling yard work and most of all his family. Those who will miss him most include his wife of 47 years Johnice Jones South Daytona Daughters Kathy (Mac) Mathews Jacksonville Susan (Jerry) Boone Jacksonville and Cindy Raines Port Orange son Ronald Cox South Daytona and brother Cecil (Linda) Jones Jacksonville.
