Obituary

Aaron Michael Aylestock, 48, of Palm Coast, Florida went home to Heaven on Sunday, June 21, 2026, after a two-year battle with cancer. He was born on February 21, 1978, in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada.

We want to celebrate a man whose greatest calling and deepest pride and joy in life was being a devoted Dad. Above all else, Aaron was a true family man who led by the finest example, anchoring his home with love, joy, integrity, and strength. His kindness knew no bounds; he lived his life with a servant’s heart, consistently going out of his way to help and bless others and point them to Christ. To know Aaron was to witness a legacy of selflessness, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to the people he loved most.

A 2001 Pensacola Christian College alumnus, Aaron faithfully served as an Abeka representative for 18 years, building strong relationships with Christian schools throughout Northeast Florida and helping educators reach their communities. He was loved and respected by his customers and colleagues for his generosity, encouragement, and willingness to help them succeed. Aaron’s positive spirit remained evident even throughout his illness. His ready smile, steady sense of humor, and genuine care for those around him brought warmth and joy wherever he went. He was known for answering “How are you?” in endearing humility with the words “Better than I deserve.” Aaron is remembered as a respected mentor, trusted friend, and servant-hearted encourager who made a lasting impact on countless lives.

Aaron is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Kimberly Rae Aylestock; daughter, Karissa Rae Aylestock; daughter, Kylie Michelle Aylestock; son, Ayden Michael Aylestock; son, Austin Ray Aylestock; daughter, Khloe Raechelle Aylestock; parents, Mike and Betty Aylestock; brother, W. Chad Aylestock (wife, Courtney Aylestock); sister, Connie Shipe (husband, Greg Shipe); Grandma Aylestock; father and mother-in-law, Ken and Kathleen Byrd; sister in law, Stephanie Byrd; brother in law, Kevin Byrd (wife, Danielle Byrd); sister in law, Sara Potter (husband, Josiah Potter); brother in law, Kyle Byrd (wife, Abby Byrd); Granddad Childress; 19 nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 2pm at Crescent Beach Baptist Church located at 885 FL-206, St. Augustine, Florida 32086. To honor Aaron’s incredible spirit and continue his legacy of care, his family asks that we look toward the future of the children who meant the world to him. In lieu of flowers, and in accordance with Kim’s wishes, those who feel led to support the kids may contribute to a memorial fund https://gofund.me/dd7c46301 or if preferred, donations can be mailed to Heritage Baptist Church, 1480 Wildwood Drive, St. Augustine, Florida 32086.
